The National Park Las Canadas, a caldera reminiscent of a lunar landscape, is a popular hiking area with fantastic views. In the winter, there is snow on top of Teide, but in the summer the area is green with trees and flowers.

If you travel to Puerto de la Cruz you can experience a billowing flower garden and a genuine Canarian town with old-fashioned charm. You can visit the fishing harbour and the Old Town with its narrow alleys, or enjoy good food or tapas at one of the local restaurants.
